Dr. Laura King is originally from Pensacola, FL and joined the Bienville Animal Medical Center staff in July, 2010., after graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University earlier in 2010.  She also holds a degree in Dairy Science from Mississippi Sate University, awarded to her in 2007.

Dr. King enjoys many aspects of companion animal practice, but has a special interest in dermatology and behavior medicine.  She is a member of the AVMA, Mississippi VMA, SMVMA and AAHA.

When not at work, Dr. King and her husband, Jared, enjoy spending time working on their house, traveling and spending time with their three dogs (Gracie, Brodie and Maggie) and 2 cats (Lena and Cole). Dr. King also enjoys cooking and painting.
