Dr. Duke Dr. Chris Duke is originally from Mobile, AL and is the founder of Bienville Medical Center. A 1983 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University, Dr. Duke has been an Ocean Springs resident since graduation. He and his wife, Ann have two children, Robert and Emily. Dr. Duke is and has been extremely active in both professional and civic organizations. He is a member of the South Mississippi VMA, the MVMA and the AVMA, and a Hospital Director for the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Duke and his family attend St. Paul United Methodist Church. Dr. Duke enjoys participating in and discussing all sports, and especially enjoys fishing, golf, tennis and baseball. Although active in all phases of small animal medicine, surgery and dentistry, Dr. Duke has special interest in orthopedic and reconstructive trauma surgery. His flair for cosmetic ear cropping and wound reconstruction has gained referrals from Louisiana, Alabama and Florida clientele. Dr. Duke is licensed to practice in both Mississippi and Alabama.

Dr. Dill Dr. Michael L. Dill is co-owner of Bienville Animal Medical Center. He graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University in 1998, and earned an undergraduate degree from MSU in 1995. Dr. Dill is a member of the South Mississippi VMA, MVMA, AVMA, and AAHA.Dr. Dill resides locally with his wife, Bethany, and their children, and a menagerie of furry and feathered "kids". Dr. Dill enjoys playing golf, gardening, and spending time with his family. The Dills are active members of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs.



Dr. Palermo Dr. Don Palermo joined Bienville Animal Medical Center after 17 years of successful practice in Laurel. A native of Vicksburg, Dr. Palermo is a proud veteran, who served three years in the U.S. Army as a medic, with 17 months actively served in VietNam. He attended Mississippi State University for undergraduate studies, and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine of Auburn University in 1977. Dr. Palermo has a special interest in wildlife rehabilitation and exotic animal practice, and received numerous awards over the years for his care and treatment of wildlife. He also enjoys avian medicine and exotic pets. Dr. Palermo is a member of the AVMA, MVMA and AAHA. Dr. Palermo and his wife, Ann, have three children: Mary Lisa, Dee and Joey. He and his family enjoy outdoor recreation and water sports. Dr. Palermo considers fishing, scuba diving and reading as his favorite recreational diversions. He plays an important role in enhancing the superior veterinary care our clients have grown to expect here at Bienville Animal Medical Center.

Dr. Randall Dr. Stacey McIlwain Randall graduated from the college of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University, and recieved a B.S. from USM in 1992. A native Ocean Springs, she return to join Bienville Animal Medical center immediatly after graduation.

While enjoying the challenges of general practice, Dr. Randall is espicially interested in Diagnostic Imaging (radiology and ultrasound), soft tissue surgery (espically wound management) and internal medicine. She is a member of the AVMA, MVMA and AAHA, and is on the advisory board of the Ocean Springs High School Allied Health Program helping to educate and mentor students in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Randall resides locally with her husband Bradley, her daughter, Allie and Lindsay, and her two canine companions, Bacchus and Buckeye. She is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ocean Springs and the Ocean Springs Yacht Club, and enjoys boating, traveling and spending time with her family during her off time.

Dr. Stephens Dr. Angela Stephens has joined the veterinary staff of Bienville Animal Medical Center in July, 2004. She is originally from Oklahoma, where she graduated with honors in 1999 from the University of Oklahoma with her B.S. in Zoology. After leaving Oklahoma, her family settled in Aberdeen, MS., and Dr. Stephens then attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University. She graduated in May, 2004.

Dr. Stephens enjoys all the challenges of small animal practice, and is particularly interested in feline internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, geriatric patient care, cardiology and ultrasound imaging. She is a member of the AVMA, Mississippi VMA, South Mississippi VMA and the American Animal Hospital Association.

Dr. Stephens currently resides with her husband, Greg, and thier furry companions Par Cinco, P.C., Rugar,Esha Rose, and Boudreaux. Her hobbies include gardening, shopping, camping, hiking and fishing.

Dr. Stephens Dr Cindy Culpepper joined the veterinary staff of Bienville Animal Medical Center in May, 2006 after graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University. Originally from clearwater, FL, Dr. Culpepper obtained her Veterinary Technology degree in 1996 from St. Petersburg Junior College. She attended the University of South Carolina Aiken and earned a B.S. degree in Biology in 2002 proir to attending veterinary school at MSU.

Dr. Culpepper enjoys all areas of small animal practice, and has paticular interests in internal medicine, geriatric patient care, and behavioral medicine. She and her husband Jonathan, her stepson Blain and her Daughter, Taylor, reside locally with their two Labrador Retreivers, Sammy and Mabel Louise, and a pet cat named Willy.

Dr. Grace Woodrell Dr. Grace Woodrell has recently joined the veterinary staff of Bienville Animal Medical Center. Dr. Woodrell is originally from the Jackson, MS area, and attended the College of Veterinary Medicine until her graduation in May, 2007. She attended MSU in undergraduate studies as well, where she was awarded a degree in Animal Science in 2003.

Dr. Woodrell enjoys all aspects of small animal practice and has special interests in ultrasonography, orthopedics and internal medicine. She is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Woodrell resides locally with her two furry companions and is excited to begin her veterinary career on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with the Bienville Animal Medical Center group.
