It is bitter sweet to announce our long time veterinarian Dr. Stacey is retiring from general practice after 26 amazing years of extraordinary care.
Dr. Stacey joined Bienville Animal Medical Center (BAMC) in 1998 after her graduation from the veterinary program at Mississippi State University. If you have ever been in an exam room with her, you will know her kindness, expertise and experience is something that will be dearly missed. In 2015, Dr. Stacey was the recipient of the Biloxi Regional Medical Center's "Caring Woman Award" in the Mentor category and was named by the AVMF as a winner of the 2015 "America's Favorite Veterinarian" contest. These are awards that could not be more fitting for her.
Thousands animals and people have been witness to extraordinary care and a gentle bedside manner. We are all going to miss Dr. Stacey here at BAMC as she has become family over her tremendous career. We at BAMC have been blessed to have had Dr. Stacey spend her career with us. Having been a part of our staff member’s life events and celebrations, Dr. Stacey’s presence is invaluable. Her bedside manner is more akin to a nurturing sister than a doctor.
Some of her client thoughts:
"Dr. Stacey Langlinais is the best!! Always caring & loves our pets like her own. She is family to us, we love her dearly & we can’t thank her enough for all the hard work & dedication!!!"
"We've taken all of our dogs to Bienville for years. We love Dr. Stacey. They are always so sweet and helpful!"
"Dr. Stacey is always there for my fur babies. She has seen a number of my pets through their lives. Happy times and sad, Dr. Stacey is always caring and kind. We love the regular checkups…it’s like seeing an old friend and she always remembers little details about my pets. Best vet ever!"
This just goes to show the impact as a medical professional, mentor and friend she has selflessly given.
There’s some good news for all of us that are sad about Dr. Stacey’s retirement…
Dr. Stacey will be remaining in the area. She is also going to be helping us at BAMC with some relief from time to time. :)
Thank you Dr. Stacey for your tireless work and selfless commitment and effort to all of your patients, clients and BAMC. It has been an honor to have her at BAMC and certainly helped make the hospital what it is today. We will all miss you and wish you nothing but the best in your retirement.
