Dr. Danielle Snyder is an Ocean Springs native. She completed a Bachelor's in Wildlife Science at Mississippi State University and graduated from Mississippi State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in the Class of 2011.  Immediately after veterinary school, she moved to South Africa for a time to practice wildlife medicine with her husband. Prior to moving back to the coast, the last 10 years she has been practicing small animal medicine near Fort Worth, TX. Her special interests include reproduction, cardiology, and exotics.

When she isn't providing care for her patients, she is actively involved in the purebred dog world as a breeder, owner, handler of borzoi and silken windhounds in conformation and sports. She is the president and a founding director of the Borzoi Health and Welfare Foundation, on the board of directors for The Silken Windhound Health Foundation, AKC Breeder of Merit, a member of the Borzoi Club of America, Lone Star Borzoi Club, and is involved in numerous sighthound cardiac studies.

In addition to dog sports, Dr. Snyder and her husband have cats, 2 mini horses, and a genet. She enjoys trail running, camping, and travel.
