Dr. Jason Lavigne is a native of Foxworth, Mississippi and joined Bienville Animal Medical Center in 2010. Dr. Lavigne graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at LSU in 2009 after earning a B.S. in Dairy Science.

Dr. Lavigne especially enjoys practicing feline medicine and is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners as well as the MVMA, AVMA and AAHA. He served as the president of the South Mississippi VMA from January 2012 until January 2014.

Dr. Lavigne resides locally, and spends his free time visiting family and fishing.
