Bienville Animal Medical Center: client No Call/No Show Policy

Here at Bienville Animal Medical Center we pride ourselves in the ability to be responsive and available for all of your pet’s medical needs.  We value all our patients and desire to ensure that you as the client receive the appropriate amount of time and attention you deserve from our doctors and pet health care team.

We understand that life happens and appointments can be forgotten. However, we are experiencing a high number of appointments being missed without a call to cancel or showing up.  Our eight veterinarians are commonly experiencing three even four no call/no shows a day. This adds up quickly to hours a day of lost appointment times when we could book these slots for other patients in need of medical care.

Bienville AMC has made the difficult decision to institute a no call/no show policy. 

Moving forward, after missing two appointment with not calling to cancel or showing up for your scheduled time, there will be an exam fee applied in order to schedule your pet’s next visit.  When you attend your appointment the exam fee will be deducted from you invoice at check-out. If the client does not call to cancel after the pre-payment is made, the fee will not be refunded nor put towards a credit for future visit.

All new clients are required to pay the exam fee at the time of scheduling their initial visit to our hospital, whether online or by phone.
