Dr. Jacob Church graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University in 2004. After completing his degree, he returned to his coastal hometown to practice general medicine. He is a proud member of the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA), the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

Dr. Church spent the first five years of his career in general practice before transitioning to veterinary emergency medicine, where he served as the attending veterinarian at a local emergency hospital. This experience allowed him to develop expertise in trauma medicine, internal medicine, advanced diagnostics, and both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. In 2013, he joined the Bienville Animal Medical Center team, becoming an owning and operating partner.

He lives locally with his wife, Heather, and their children, Kaitlyn and Matthew, along with a number of furry family members. In his free time, Dr. Church enjoys woodworking, whitewater kayaking, and spending quality time with his family. The Church family is also actively involved in St. Paul Church, Ocean Springs.
