Dr. Meghan Melugin is a native of Gonzales, Louisiana and joined Bienville Animal Medical Center in 2023. Dr. Melugin graduated Northshore Technical Community College as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She then graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine at LSU in 2023 after earning a B.S. in Animal Science.

Dr. Melugin enjoys practicing all areas of companion animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. She is a member of the AVMA, AAHA, American Heartworm Society, and has a graduate certificate from VBMA (National Veterinary Business Management Association). She also has specialized training and certification in mixed animal acupuncture. 

Dr. Melugin has moved to Ocean Springs, and spends her free time with her personal pets and doing anything “outdoorsy”.
